The first train between Harrachov and Szklarska Poreba went
after 47-year pause in the year 1992
(see illustrational photo from 1994). A lot of words about the
traffic renewal was said, but in the Polish time-table the rides at the
100 anniversary are ment as "adrenaline" ones. |
|
Due to big interest the train had 7 carriages.
On July 5th it was completely full.

The trip was full of adventures. The first one was to get
the tickets (reserved, of course). By the departure Jakuszyce the first
810 of the set lost her tap on the air-holder. The trace is visible on the
concrete panel near-by the rails.

The Poles ensured the engines and free way promptly.

So finally, 10 years after the first trip, I got into
Szklarska Poreba too. |
